What's the region board's role? This collaborative team provides guidance, support, and development opportunities for chapter leaders and members-at-large fosters growth within the Region, and serves as a communication conduit between members, chapters, and the IABC International Executive Board.

|2020 Regional Conference Chair
Help lead a dynamic committee of chapter and region volunteers as we plan and execute our fall 2020 conference. (Second co-chair needed.)
|Finance Support Specialist
This is a solid opportunity to grow and make a difference. It’s a transitional/shadowing role that will help you prepare to serve as region finance chair in the future. Professional budget experience is helpful but not required. You’ll have support from a professional bookkeeper and an opportunity to collaborate with other region leaders. You’ll observe and begin gaining valuable experience in creating a budget, managing financial processes, guiding strategic decisions and helping the region thrive. Time required: 2 to 5 hours per month, including monthly board call. Contact us for more information.

Roles involve arranging speakers, booking sponsors, handling logistics, organizing volunteers, marketing, and more.
Attract, engage, and retain members who are not near a chapter while helping them gain the most from their IABC membership.
|Chapter Relations/Chapter Liaisons
Board role: Share valuable ideas and resources with chapter leaders, help chapters overcome obstacles, and help inactive chapters reactivate.

Help drive and recognize communication success. Available roles involve promotions, entrant support, evaluation/judging coordination, and recognition.

Board role: Develop strategy and execute tactics to increase student recruitment and facilitate the development of new student chapters in our region.
