Dear Heritage Region Colleagues,
I hope this message finds you well as we end 2021 with the holiday season.
IABC is in the early stages of major changes. Driving forces for these changes are the information environment around us, the way the world is doing business, and the importance that professional communicators are playing considering these changes. What this requires is more active involvement from professional communicators across the globe and within our region.
On behalf of the Heritage Region, I am asking for your support to:
- Get involved with your local Chapters. We are desperately in need of members to become active in Chapter leadership positions. Serving in local leadership positions is a great way to connect with others, give back to the profession, and help keep colleagues engaged.
- Join a Heritage Region Committee. There are plenty of opportunities to become part of several committees on the Region level and we would like your support in helping us serve members across the Heritage Region.
I ask that you contact your Chapter or the Heritage Region for opportunities to get involved. In addition, we will hold an event in early in the New Year about how you can get involved. Stay tuned for more information soon.
